Atticus's inability to hold still

After Atticus practice's the piano everyday he has to read notes. He always has so much energy that he can't ever hold still.
Here are some pictures of the routine. Sorry for those who saw this post before, in its messed up state. I went back to put more pics on, and I had it put the photo's on left instead of center like I did the other ones.

BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

GUESS WHO WON THEIR LAST BASKETBALL GAME MAKING IT A UNDEAFEATED SEASON!
PITTSFORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a really close game, and we were playing the team that we only
beat by one point last game. In the second half of the fourth quarter we were actually behind
20 to 24. We made three baskets in four minutes and won 26 to 24. It was so exciting!

sickness

Everybody is sick around here. Some of our friends have flu, a friend Elias hung-out with last night
now has strep, my friends mom and sister are recovering from flu, and we have colds. I am almost
over it, Satchel still has it, and so does Atty. Elias has just been blammed. Mom and Dad don't really
have it, but cross your fingers. Hopefully anybody reading this is in a warmer climate then where we
are. We have had some of the coldest days lately. Dad still rides his bike of course, but about a week
ago it was so cold he had to stop at a resturant to thaw his chain lube, which had frozen and wouldn't
go. Even though it is so cold, dosn't mean we have snow... we were supposed to go sledding today but
sledding on grass isn't that tempting. I am wishing for a Utah spring that starts in March instead of
at the end of April.

Church ball again

I forgot to say yesterday that we have won all our games
and if we win our last one which is next week we will be
undefeated! We won most of our games last year but it
was because of forfeit of other teams because they didn't
have enough players. It is so much more fun to actually win
them. Next week we play Fairport and Lyons, and we only
beat Fairport by one point the last time we played them.
Wish us luck!

Church ball

I have been playing church basketball Saturday mornings. It is so much fun, and I don't mean to boast, but I am getting pretty good. I play forward and center best, but I have had to play guard and point too. Today I blocked a total of 10 shots and rebounds. I tried to shoot about five times but couldn't get it in. I used to not be able to shoot at all, but I have made a couple of shots this year. We had a basketball practice Thursday, and we did this one drill where we had to dribble in and out of these five chairs and back. Our two coaches did it and timed themselves. They did it in 9 sec. and 10 sec. They said anyone that beat their times would get a full size candy bar of their choice. Well I did it 9 sec. and 46 milliseconds and today I got a snickers. Yah! Well I've got to go and clean my room so I can join the boys outside sledding.
Sorry if some of these pictures are blurry. It was hard for dad to take pics when I was moving so much.
I am number three.

Our homeschool co-op

Here are some pictures a friend took on her cell phone of two of my friends and I doing this really funny song we made up.
It was row row row your boat in Shakespeare. Roweth Roweth Roweth thy mighty vessel, gently down the roaring river! Merrily Merrily Merrily Merrily life is but a midsummers night dream. It was really goofy.
The other on is Satchel showing a measuring cup he made out of paper and a popsicle stick. We had a valentines party, and a valentine exchange. It was really fun, and everyone got alot of valentines.

New Beginnings

Tonight for young womens we are having new beginnings. We are going to do this really cheesey skit that we made a little more fun by adding some different lines. The beehive were in charge of making the food, I suggested, and volunteered to make chocolate covered strawberries. They took forever, but I am so proud, they look so beautiful. And I am proud cause I havn't eaten even one. Some of the chocolate from the bowl dosn't count. Anyway I have to go because I have these really annoying latin names for weird plants I have to memorize. Does anyone want to do these for me? Here is about half of them.
Porifera
Coelenterata
Ctenophora
plalyhelminthes
Rhonochoroela
Nematoda
Acanthocephala
Chaetognatha
Nematomorpha
Hemichordata
Looks fun dosn't it?

Atticus trying to ride moms excercise bike

This morning Atticus was trying to ride moms bike, which is hooked up to this one thingy so she can ride it in winter. He is waaaaaaaay to short, and could barely stay on. It was hilarious.

Yet another one of Satchels birthday celebrations.. this one just our family

Here is just the family celebration of Satchels birthday. It was really fun, and he chose chocolate pecan cake, with german chocolate cake frosting. When he really likes a present (which is always) he loves to show it. I included a couple of pictures of this happening. Tonight we are having his choice of dinner which is fried rice. We also have wrestling again. AFTER leftover cake. This is going to be interesting.

Satchels birthday party

If you have alot of time on your hands now is the time to read this because there were just to many good pictures to pass up,
and alot of them need explaining. First, I would like to say that I am almost permanantly deaf, and after the party I was exhausted. It was so much fun though. I need to explain some of the pics. If you see some of people frowning, it is because we were playing a game where you couldn't smile, while people were trying to make you laugh, I tried to include pics of everybody there, because their smiling faces were so cute. They played a ton of games having to do with popping balloons,
and some kids were just to light to pop them. They would sit on them, stomp them, try to tear them, and couldn't get it.
Anyway, I've got to go.
P.S. Does anybody know if the groundhog saw his shadow?
P.P.S. We went to the church for the broadcasting of President Hinckleys funeral. It was so touching, we were all crying.
