Here are pictures of our hike up Angels Landing in Zion National Park, It was only 5 miles round trip but the last .5 mile was crazy dangerous. On one side of the ridge there is a 1200 ft. drop, on the other a 800 ft. drop I would probably be safe to say that Atticus was the youngest person ever to go up.

Rock Climbing
This was awhile ago, but I wanted to write about it anyway. I did some pretty hard walls, but I kinda cheated cause I didn't follow any tapes. It was really fun, and my grandpa climbed a wall too. It was awesome!
The one of just the wall, is one I did, but we didn't get a picture of me actually climbing. There are more pics of this event on Elias's camera, so as soon as he finds it I will put some more up.
P.S. Does anybody know why the Morgansbydesign label at the top of my blog is all screwed up?
World War 2
My Grandpa fought in World War 2, and he let us try on all his gear. I have come to the conclusion that not only is he a brave man, he is very strong too, because that stuff weighs a lot!!!!!!!! Here are some pictures of us all dressed up.
He wrote a book too, about his adventures in the war. It is called Lesser Hero's, for anybody interested.

mothers day
For mothers day we went on a fun hike at a park named "The Thousand Acre Swamp". It was super fun, despite scaring off of any wildlife in the surrounding area. It would be nice if somebody could show me how to put blogger video's on here, cause I have some good ones of the walk. Had strawberry pie for dessert. What could be better?

Elias's b-day party
Elias's 12th b-day party was a sleepover, and very fun. They did a treasure hunt, with the best treasure... ice cream cones.
They watched some old movies, Candleshoe, and Follow Me Boys. They also had a water fight in 60 degree weather, which ended up throwing water balloons at trees, because it was to cold to throw them at each other, played nerf tag, and the sock game, somthing we made up, and will definitly teach cousins when we come out this summer. Mom made an amazing cake to suit the picky needs of some of Elias's friends. One couldn't eat chocolate, and one only liked chocolate. So she made one round white, and one round chocolate and cut them into quarters. Then stacked two chocolates, two whites, and a white on top of a chocolate, and a chocolate on top of a white... if you can get your brains around that. It was delicious.
